Air Fuel Ratio

Air/Fuel Ratio

Tuning with a Dynojet dyno has never been easier! With the addition of our new air/fuel ratio monitor, every dyno run can show you not only horsepower and torque, but also exact air/fuel ratio. This takes the guesswork out of fuelling adjustments. The air/fuel ratio graph shows a rich/lean condition at each RPM during the dyno run.

Retrofit table to any existing Model 200 dynamometer, as well as any upgraded Model 100 or 150 dyno utilizing the new hardware stack and WinPEP software.

The air/fuel ratio monitor also includes a high temperature sample line with a dual pump assembly and moister separator.

Wide-Band O2 sensor has a range of 10.29:1 to 23.0:1. Specialized 6 wire heated and referenced sensor is self-calibrating for long, consistent life.

Air/Fuel Ratio Graphs

Air/Fuel Graph

Here's what the end result of an air-fuel run looks like. As you can see, the red horsepower graph dips at 4000 rpm, which also corresponds with the lean air/fuel ratio on the lower graph.

Air/Fuel Graph

Here's a close-up of the horsepower and air/fuel graphs at the top end. As you can see, the lean air/fuel ratio (blue graph), made less power than the red graph with a richer air/fuel ratio. This kind of quick indicator will make tuning much quicker for your shop.
